  so i studied with this guy who is now an elder in my moms hall.

  she has cancer and is black and blue from it.

  we are like real family so i invite him over for drinks and pizza.

  my dear old dad has lived in a care home almost 3 years now. he's been an elder--was baptised over 50 years ago. total visits from any jw's this year------none.

  i think these historic cases of abuse could easily get way out of control. most times theres no evidence--and its just one persons word against another. also--accusations could be made against any of us.

  surely someone who eagerly looks forward to the death of billions of people (including babies and children) is not emotionally healthy?.

  yet, that is the key belief "happily" anticipated by witnesses.... food for thought?.

  how anyone with an ounce of common sense can stay in that cult is beyond me.

  it keeps its membership through fear. if its members stopped worrying about dying and got on with living they would be a lot happier and healthier.
